I began my career at 16, working across small businesses before progressing into senior interim roles in marketing and commercial functions.
Working inside organisations across the UK – from SMEs to large corporates – gave me a rare vantage point: I’ve seen how strategy translates (or fails to translate) into operational reality.
In 2004, I moved to the buyer side of procurement, evaluating service tenders and capital contracts. That experience sharpened my understanding of governance, risk, and how commercial decisions are made.
In 2006, I founded UK Bid Writer. For nearly two decades, I have advised owner-led SMEs on strengthening their commercial foundations and aligning their operations around sustainable growth.
Over time, one pattern became increasingly clear: many capable businesses are not structurally prepared for the speed and complexity of technological change now reshaping the market.
In response, I expanded my strategic consultancy in 2025 to focus on supporting organisations to modernise and futureproof – thoughtfully, commercially, and without destabilising what already works.
I completed London Business School’s Business of AI: Strategies for Leaders programme in 2025 and became an Innovate UK Talent and Skills Connect partner. I hold the Chartered Management Consultant award, the highest status in the management consulting profession.
My work now centres on helping organisations modernise safely – combining strategic clarity, operational realism, and intelligent use of AI and digital tools.
